TRUFFLE is a minimalist puzzle maze game where touching the walls kills you instantly. It is a high difficulty, patience testing, dexterity game.

Development
TRUFFLE was developed over 4 months. I solo developed this game while using the Godot game engine for the first time.
I switched from using the Unity engine to now using the Godot engine due to the massive problems Unity was going through during this time. Learning a new game engine was very fun and I found many things in the Godot engine that I much preferred over Unity.
I chose to remake my first game as a way to learn the new game engine. I was able to get to grips with the engine quickly due to this and that allowed me to add many more features and levels into this game that the original did not have. I had also published two other games since making the original TRUFFLE game, so I had grown my game development skills as well. This new version of the game features over twice as many levels, more secrets, and many quality of life features.
I also took this opportunity to localize this game into 24 languages. Since the game does not have much text, I decided that it was a good way to become familiar with the localization system in Godot. I found that it allowed many people around the world to also play my game. It took a lot of work but overall I was able to see the benefits of it.
